Privacy notice
What we do with your details when you get in touch or have work done by LSE Roofing. In short: we use them to reply, quote and do the job, and we never sell them.

Who we are
LSE Roofing is the trading name of Liam Edwards, a roofing contractor based in Connah's Quay, Flintshire. Liam Edwards is the data controller, which means he is responsible for the personal information described on this page.
If you have any question about your details, contact us on 07710 679553 or at info@lse-roofing.co.uk.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us, whether that's through the enquiry form on this website, by phone, by email, on WhatsApp or through Facebook or Instagram:
- your name, phone number and email address;
- the address or postcode of the property;
- what you tell us about the roof, and any photographs you send;
- quotations, invoices, guarantees and records of the work we carry out for you;
- records of payments you make to us.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, inspect the roof and prepare a quotation. We do this because you have asked us to, as a step towards agreeing a contract with you.
- To carry out the work, invoice you and honour our workmanship guarantee. This is needed to fulfil our contract with you.
- To keep business and tax records. The law requires us to keep these.
- To follow up after a job, for example to check you're happy with the work or to ask whether you'd be willing to leave a review. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in looking after our customers and our reputation. You can tell us not to at any time.
You don't have to give us any information. But without a way to contact you and an address for the property, we can't provide a quotation or carry out work.
We do not make any decisions about you by automated means.
Who we share it with
We never sell your details or pass them to anyone for their own marketing. We share them only where it's needed to run the business or do your job:
- Companies that provide our website, enquiry form, email and messaging — Netlify (website and enquiry form), Microsoft (email) and, if you message us that way, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram, which are run by Meta.
- Contractors and suppliers working on your job, such as our scaffolding contractor or a merchant delivering materials, who need the property address and access details.
- Professional advisers and HMRC, where needed for accounts, tax or legal reasons.
Some of these companies store or process information outside the UK, including in the United States. They do so under their own data protection terms.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that don't lead to any work: up to 12 months, in case you come back to us.
- Quotations and records of completed work: for the length of the workmanship guarantee on the job, so we can deal with any guarantee claim.
- Invoices and payment records: for as long as tax law requires.
Photographs of our work
We often photograph a job before, during and after the work, for our own records and to show examples of what we do. We don't publish your name or your full address with them. If you would prefer us not to use photographs of your property on our website or social media, just tell us.

Your rights
You have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct anything that's wrong;
- ask us to delete your information, or to stop or limit how we use it;
- object to us using your information for follow-up contact.
To use any of these rights, contact us using the details at the top of this page. We'll respond within one month. There may be some records we have to keep, such as invoices needed for tax, and we'll tell you if that applies.
If you're not happy
Please talk to us first and we'll do our best to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.
